    Each piece offered by Clair Obscur is carefully selected and handled with attention. The following guidelines are intended to ensure clarity and transparency throughout the purchasing process.

  • All orders are carefully prepared and shipped from Italy.

    Each item is individually packed with great attention to ensure maximum protection during transit. Due to the nature of vintage and antique objects, some pieces may require custom or reinforced packaging.

    Processing time
    Orders are processed within 3–5 business days after payment confirmation.

    Delivery timeframes
    Estimated delivery times are calculated from the moment the order is dispatched and may vary depending on destination and carrier. Delivery times are indicative and may be affected by customs procedures or circumstances beyond our control.

    Local pickup
    Free local pickup is available by appointment in the Milan & Brianza area.
    Customers selecting this option will be contacted after purchase to arrange a suitable time and location.

    Shipping Rates

    Shipping costs are charged as a flat rate per order, based on destination:

    • Italy — €18

    • European Union — €32

    • United Kingdom, Switzerland & Norway — €35

    • Rest of the World (including the United States) — Shipping on request

    For destinations outside the European Union, including the United States, shipping costs may vary significantly depending on size, weight, destination, and carrier requirements.

    For this reason, international shipping outside Europe is quoted individually.

    Please contact us before placing your order to receive a personalized shipping quote.

  • International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or additional fees imposed by the destination country.

    These charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost and are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
    Clair Obscur cannot be held responsible for delays or additional costs caused by customs procedures.

  • All items sold on Clair Obscur are vintage, antique, or one-of-a-kind pieces.

    Signs of age, wear, patina, or minor imperfections are to be expected and are considered part of the object’s history, character, and charm.
    Each piece is carefully selected and described as accurately as possible.

    By purchasing, you acknowledge that you are buying a pre-owned object, not a newly manufactured product.

  • At this time, returns are not accepted.

    However, if an item arrives damaged during transit, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery by sending clear photographs of:

    • the damaged item

    • the packaging (inside and outside)

    Requests submitted after 24 hours from delivery may not be eligible for review.

  • All prices are listed in EUR (€).
    Payment is required at the time of purchase.

    Clair Obscur reserves the right to update shipping rates, policies, and terms at any time. Any changes will not affect orders already placed.nto
